WE’RE HERE TO MAKE AN IMPACT
-

The Boys & Girls Club
Through our partnership with BGC’s after-school and summer youth programs at Lodi and Hackensack, TechSprouts mentors and teaches the fundamentals of STEM and coding through hands-on experiments and interactive lessons. We focus on teamwork, communication, and critical problem-solving skills.
-
Tenafly Community Night
We joined the yearly event to raise awareness for TechSprouts as a non-profit organization, recruit volunteers, fundraise for Project Nigeria, and invite prospective students to sign-up for our free STEM class. It was a great way to engage our mayor and members of the community through games, great conversations, and love for STEM!
-

Project Nigeria
With support from our local United Nations delegate and Nigerian chapter, TechSprouts strives to make education a vital instrument for social and economic change in Nigeria. Our ongoing Backpack Fundraiser and Build-a-Classroom initiatives aim to help make education more accessible for the children of Nigeria.
-

Local Chapters
We are growing! With more clubs actively participating with TechSprouts, our members are building a broader sense of community through the shared passion for STEM. Together, we volunteer, teach, fundraise, and raise public awareness for STEM education. Join us in our efforts. Be a sprouter!
-

Soup Kitchen
TechSprouts continues to serve at Hana Mission’s soup kitchen to give back to our community. Every carefully prepared and served meal offered nourishment, hope, and comfort within a dignified setting to the 60-80 neighbors that are homeless, vulnerable, and experiencing hardship.
-

Pastry Fundraiser
TechSprouts’ pastry-focused fundraiser was a huge success! We spent time talking to members of our community about our efforts to raise funds to ship learning materials and backpacks to Nigeria. Thank you to the many who supported us by buying pastries!
