MEET THE FOUNDERS
John Lee
Co-President, Media Committee
I attend Tenafly High School, and cofounding TechSprouts is something I am really proud of because it combines many of my passions: helping others, STEM, and inspiring younger students. I enjoy Chemistry and Biology, but I also love reading a good dystopian novel and playing ice hockey.
Justin Na
Co-President, Outreach & Fundraising Committee
I cofounded TechSprouts to help break down the barriers to STEM education, especially for the under-resourced, diverse communities that suffer from financial, systemic, and cultural inequities. As a student of the Academy for Technology and Computer Science, I am passionate about being a STEM mentor who creates equitable, interdisciplinary learning opportunities with real-world applications that improve lives and readiness for the future.
Danny Paik
Co-President, Education Committee
I attend the Academy for the Advancement of Science and Technology and co-founded TechSprouts to help more children discover STEM in a fun and engaging way. Through hands-on science experiments, coding, and other interactive activities, our goal is to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and foster a love of learning. I am proud of the positive impact we have made by reaching so many students. Outside of STEM, I enjoy skiing and playing the guitar.

I graduated from Bergen Catholic High School in 2026, and I am excited to start my college career at Cooper Union this fall. Through my experience with robotics, I realized that each one of us can be critical thinkers. I hope to be an example to others that STEM education is valuable, confidence-building and most importantly, fun!
